In the knife industry there is a myth: in some place there is a totally stainless steel with big features in the cut. A Japanese smelting has turned this myth actually with the steel H1. It is a steel that has not been hardened by means of heat. In addition, the alloy has nitrogen instead of carbon. So it is not possible to oxidize. But it possesses a capacity of cut similar to other alloys with carbon.
To achieve that the whole razor is stainless, all the pieces have been treated and / or modified: the blockade of the leaf also is of steel H1, whereas the screws have a covering titanium to assure its resistance to the corrosion.
The razor Salt I has a form similar to the Delica, with some modifications. The top of the leaf has the end rounded by the part of the loin. The orifice of opening is bigger, to facilitate its opening with gloves.
Only a suggestion: if you are going to use it near the water, tie an end in the end. It is never known...
